INTEC Controls Features Polygard®2 Gas Detection and Control Solutions at IPI 2018 in Orlando June 3-6, 2018
Having fresh air in an enclosed parking garage is taken for granted by garage guests and garage operations employees alike. Keeping toxic carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide at safe levels is required throughout the US and around the world. At this year’s IPI Conference & Expo, INTEC Controls will be featuring our 4th generation of sensors and controls that lower the initial and lifecycle cost and increase the reliability of these important safety systems. The good news for garage owners and operators is that in addition to eliminating safety risk, well designed and maintained gas detection systems also dramatically reduce energy consumption and cost.
In addition to showing the new products in booth 908, Mr. Mike Adelman, INTEC Controls' General Manager will be discussing recent changes to the International Mechanical Code as well as new options in energy efficient ventilation equipment in the conference’s Learning Lab on Tuesday June 5th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Learning Lab discussion will be of interest to:
- Consulting engineers who design new garages and garage refurbishments
- Parking garage operators whose value proposition requires them to be
- subject matter experts in all facets of optimal garage operation

The Green Parking Council (GPC) is a national 501(c)(3) organization providing leadership and oversight for the development and dispersion of green parking practices through developing certification and credentialing programs, open-sourced standards, professional leadership and educational development and training for organizations and individuals in the parking industry. GPC works at the intersection of parking, green building, clean technology, renewable energy, smart grid infrastructure, urban planning and sustainable mobility. Now a part of the U.S. Green Building Council, the parking program has been renamed to Parksmart. |
